Master Bedroom E-Design

Looking back at when this year started, I had big goals to finish lots of installs before my July due date with our 2ndbaby. Then, COVID hit and I was forced to take clients virtually and offer E-Designs rather than in-person styling. Despite the abrupt change of pace, it was a great way to expand my business and offer a convenient and affordable service for my clients. (Fill out the questionnaire on my contact page to start yours!)

When my brother and sister-in-law contacted me to help them with their stay-at-home quarantine project, I was so excited! I love to help family members because most of the time they give me free reign and completely trust my judgement. Sara, my sister in law, also has great taste— so I knew it would turn out to be wonderful! My brother is also a go-getter, and contrary to what he would say, loves a good DIY project. Knowing they would be up for the challenge to do the install themselves, we decided on this gorgeous wallpaper from Arhaus. It started as the inspiration for the whole room!

Like I start almost every project, I created the E-Design mood board for them to help them visualize the room. The goal was to brighten the space and make it more serene. As you can see in the before, they have a large wall to decorate. The shelf there originally was too small and didn’t fit the space. This is a great place to add a gallery wall of family photos! This is one of my go-to design ideas, because it fills up the wall and adds a personal touch.

After replacing the bedding, light fixture, wall décor, and adding wallpaper, the space was complete! They are welcoming baby #3 in January and that’s one of the last rooms in the house they need help with. What do you think.. should they let me design that too?
